School choir competition: we have a winner!

Thursday 5th October was the Final of the Devon Schools Choir Competition.  Three schools battled it out for the top prize of a twenty minute slot at the La La annual Christmas Concert in aid of CLIC Sargent, CLIC4Christmas.

 

It was a tough decision for the judges, and they took much longer than the allotted time to debate and choose the winning choir, but in the end one choir just edged the others  …

 

… Kingsley School from Bideford!  Congratulations to them.  You can hear a snippet of their performance here:

 

 

It was a great morning, and the standard was very high, which was why the judges had such a hard time picking a winner.
