Back to ‘normal’
The day is finally here – so-called Freedom Day where most of the restrictions imposed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic have been lifted. For us at La La this means that we can at last get back to our usual lovely venues and have some wonderful live singing together.
Sam, however, has a steady calm hand on the La La tiller and will be steering us through this part of the storm carefully. There will be rules we all follow still, to keep each other safe, happy and for EVERYONE to enjoy La La again in a way that makes them comfortable. She will be streaming live sessions on the Facebook page so no one gets left out. We are a family and always will be.
From 26th July, we will be rehearsing as follows (all sessions are 7pm to 9pm):
Monday – Plymouth : EMMANUEL CHURCH HALL, Compton Avenue (corner of Mannamead Road), Plymouth, PL3 5BZ
Tuesday – Exeter : THE BEACON COMMUNITY CENTRE Pendragon House, Beacon Lane, Exeter EX4 8LZ until 17th August. BOWHILL PRIMARY SCHOOL Buddle Lane, Exeter EX4 1JG from 7th September onwards.
Wednesday – Exmouth : GLENORCHY CHURCH HALL, Exeter Road, Exmouth, EX8 1PL
Thursday – Ottery St Mary : THE KINGS SCHOOL Main Hall, Cadhay Lane, Ottery St Mary EX11 1RA.
As mentioned, there are rules we still need to follow – please read the Code of Conduct below to see what those are. The most important is the requirement to provide evidence of a negative lateral flow test on the day of the session you wish to attend – we need to keep everyone as safe as possible and this is a non-negotiable rule. No negative test, no entry.
Also linked below is the risk assessment which you should read to ensure you are aware of all the measures that have been put in place to keep you all safe.
All new and existing members must also complete the new membership form to ensure we have up to date details required for track and trace. You can find the new form here … MEMBERSHIP FORM 2021
