We love singing at La La (Devon’s largest non-audition adult choir), but we are also big believers in supporting charities.
The Red Box Project is a community-based, not-for-profit initiative, which aims to support young people throughout their periods by providing red boxes filled with free period products to local schools.
As part of our Be Kind project, La La have recently provided a red box at all choir sessions, where members can donate sanitary products, tights and pants, and we have received lovely email from the charity about how thanks to the efforts of La La members, they are now able to provide a new service to a new area. Woohoo! This is what our Be Kind project is all about – making a real difference to people in our local community. There will be a box available at every choir session for donations.
