Our 10th Christmas Celebration Concert at Exeter Cathedral was nothing short of extraordinary. A truly special and magical evening, marking a decade of music, friendship and growth for the La La Choirs family.
Months of hard work, dedication and love all came together on the night, as our voices resonated throughout the cathedral, filling every corner of that breathtaking space. Standing together in such an iconic venue, there was a powerful sense of achievement, a moment that reflected just how far we have come and how we have grown into the incredible choir we are today.
One of the most moving moments of the evening was the performance of Free, beautifully remastered by our very own Charlotte Abrahams. The piece was both uplifting and deeply emotional, and its power and purpose truly connected with our audience. It reminded us all why we were there, to raise money for Children’s Hospice South West, who provide exceptional respite and palliative care for families across the South West, helping them make the most of short but precious lives. We raised an epic £15,531 on the night.
We were also delighted to be joined by the brilliant Lympstone Band, whose Christmas set list went down an absolute storm and added even more joy and celebration to the evening.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us, sung with us, and shared this journey over the past 10 years. This concert was a celebration of every single one of you.
Here’s to the next chapter, the next songs, and the next 10 years.
Merry Christmas
