There’s something special happening in our choir right now, and it’s not just Spring in the air, there’s a real spring in our step too!
All the hard work we’ve put it so far this year is truly paying off. Week by week, note by note, everything is coming together beautifully, you can really feel it in rehearsals.
A real highlight was the fantastic Sandra Smith Vocal Workshop. What a brilliant day. We dove deep in to technique, explored new ways to harness our voices, and spent time really fine tuning our sound. It wasn’t just about improving individually, but bringing us closer as a choir. Stronger voices, stronger unity, and a renewed confidence in what we can achieve together.
We also embraced Happiness Week in true La La style, with colour, laughter and plenty of sweet treats! Everyone wore things that made them truly happy whilst raising money for the Children’s Hospice South West. A wonderful reminder that music isn’t just about what we sing, but how we connect and give back.
We’ve got so much to look forward to this year. Our Sam will be back commentating at Run Plymouth where some of our La La family will also be running to raise money for the nominated charity at this years run, Jeremiah’s Journey for which Sam is also an ambassador.
We’re also gearing up for one of our biggest concerts in our calendar, The Big Blast! Trust us, you won’t want to miss it so keep your eyes peeled for tickets when they go live.
